Subject : RE: RE: Hmong Lao Refugees

I met a young lady who works for the IRC the other night at a Networking Event at the Sukhothai. I asked her a few questions about the Hmong refugees and wanted to continue the conversation further so I asked her for her business card, but she didn't have one.

I wonder why the Hmong people who have been resettled in the US are not giving their own people more help? It seems the new generation are not aware of their own history. Or maybe their new life is so easy they have forgotten their own people who are struggling back home.

They should remember them and give them more aid. There isn't much time left to help them.

The other option is to do nothing and enjoy your new life in the US and not worry about your relatives back in Asia.

I remain,

Prisana
